Children are one of the more difficult subject matters to capture, yet definitely one of the most satisfying when done well. Most child portraiture is done on location at their home or somewhere that is comfortable for and familiar to them. This makes for more natural images. Typically, if a child is at play or doing an activity that they enjoy, the resulting images will be ones that their family will cherish and it will be an experience that the child will not just tolerate, but have fun at.
